Sure-Stop Line Stop System
Furmanite’s Sure-Stop Line Stop services provide pipe system control when valves are unavailable or do not operate, and shut-down is not desirable. While other Line Stop methods seal on the inside of the pipe wall, the Sure-Stop line stop valve intersects the existing header pipe and compresses its seal against a freshly machined cut.
Sure-Stop Capabilities
- 14″ – 48″ Diameter Pipe Systems
- Line Stop pressure rating to 500 PSI
- Available for Line Stopping ANSI Class 150 and 300 pipe systems
- Positive Flow Stoppage when other Line Stop systems are limited
- Ideal for work on systems containing flammable or noxious contents when complete Line Plugging shutdown is crucial
- Additional Safety
- Works on out of round pipe, pipe with internal seams
- Effective Line Stop on pipes with known internal build-up of minerals, ash, sludge, or other.
- Hot Tap Shavings will not limit the quality of the line plugging shutdown like other methods
