Unparalleled Line Stopper performance

Furmanite offers complete Mueller Line Stopper field services to gas distribution and pipeline contractors throughout the World.  Furmanite’s relationship with the Mueller Company dates back to the 1960’s.  We own and operate multiple sets of Mueller Line Stopper machines in each size and pressure class category.

Mueller Line Stoppers provide an alternate means for Line Plugging and their “No-Blo” technology provides the most fail safe, reliable, and time tested Line Stop method available when working on natural gas distribution systems.  As the original manufacturer of Line Stopper technology for the Gas Distribution industry, Mueller Line Stoppers have provided decades worth of successful field operations.

Furmanite offers Mueller Line Stops from 2″ – 12″ and to pipeline pressures of 500 PSI.  We are a Mueller Distributor for over 4 decades and are available to supply fittings, replacement parts, and machine repair to fufill customer needs.

Unique Capabilties

Furmanite also complements our Line Stop Contractor services with a complete line of Qualitech Line Stopper machines and fittings.  As the original manufacturer of this machinery dating back to the early 1970’s, we have a complete line of machinery that can perform mechanical line stops from 3/4″ – 6″.  We no longer manufacture the equipment but have it available for sale as a distributor.  The Qualitech equipment provides an effective means of line stopping pipe flow on systems up to 300 PSI.  Ideal for working in tight quarters and light weight enough to be hand transported to work areas.  It is just another reason our field service operations are the most diverse and capable in the industry.

Mueller and Qualitech mean Quality

Furmanite provides complete Mueller and Qualitech Line Stopper Services to the gas industry and beyond.  Mueller Line Stopper equipment is the original method of Line Stopping used within the natural gas industry.  Mueller’s “No Blo” steel-wedge technology provides safe and effective isolation of natural gas systems when other systems are limited.

Qualitech Line Stopper technology is a light weight, yet rugged system used to stop flow in pressurized natural gas systems up to 6″.  With pressure ratings from 100 – 300 PSI, the Qualitech Line Stopper line is an indespensible and dependible line of equipment within our field service group.
