Reinforcing Saddle Options

Both Full Encirclement and Reinforcing Saddles may be mated with shaped nipples to provide a dependable branch connection design. Reinforcing Saddles are designed for fitting around both existing pipe branch connections or for use in conjunction with non-reinforced shaped nipples for new branch connections.

Reinforcing Saddles are available with the following features.

  • Available in Sizes up to 60”
  • Available in both Full Encirclement Reinforcing Sleeve and Reinforcing Saddle Design
  • All Full Encirclement Reinforcing Sleeves and Reinforcing Saddles are factory inspected in ensure proper fit-up
  • Full Quality Control with Material Test Certification and Heat Trace Numbers Available
  • Custom Design Full Encirclement Reinforcing Sleeves and Reinforcing Saddles Per Customer Specifications including
  • special plate, wall thickness, markings, inspection process, and lengths available
  • Prompt delivery
  • Reinforcing Pads Available for low pressure applications
  • Full Encirclement Reinforcing Sleeves and Reinforcing Saddles can be supplied with Furmanite supplied engineering calculations to verify compliance with applicable design codes
