The IPSCO Close-Sure Completion Flange Advantage
Furmanite’s Split Tee Line Stop fittings come prepared with Close-Sure Flanged Outlets and Close-Sure Completion Plugs. The Close-Sure system has been used under pressure valve recoveries in the field for over 50 years. No other manufacturer can claim a completion system that has proven so reliable. Completion flanges and plugs are the “magic” behind a line stop service operation. Unlike a hot tap, when a valve traditionally is left behind as a mean of control at the point of new branch tie-in, there is no purpse to leave a valve behind when performing a line stop operation. The IPSCO/Furmanite completion flange system allows for valve removal once the Line Stop service is completed.
