Global Workforce Planning Leads to Successful Job Completion
Furmanite recently completed a significant project at its Rotterdam, Netherlands, facility that involved a team of technicians from Belgium, the Netherlands and the U.K. to support repair work on more than 150 valves for a customer in Belgium.
The team was assembled though Furmanite’s Global Workforce Planning & Staffing Group to accommodate the customer’s timeline and to bring specialized technicians to the project.
While most of the work was being done in the Antwerp, Belgium, shop, the larger valves had been sent to the Netherlands where the capabilities existed to do the work more efficiently. The project took about six weeks and the bulk of the valve work required completion in two weeks. Both were achieved on time and within budget.
