Furmanite’s Split Sleeve Pipeline repair clamps are available for installation on standard or heavy wall pipelines, flowlines, or risers containing a variety of products including crude oil, natural gas, water, steam, and refined products. Split Sleeve Pipeline Repair Clamps are available for low, medium, and high pressure applications and can be used both on and off-shore with no welding required.

The SSRC Mechanical Pipeline Repair Clamp offers the following advantages.

The SSRC Mechanical Pipeline Repair Clamp offers the following advantages
  • Welding – Split Sleeve Pipeline Repair Clamps may be seal welded to the pipeline after installation providing the pipe conforms to dimensional tolerances as set forth in API 5L specifications
  • Optional – Design options such as repair clamp alloy body materials, extended seal and body lengths, special sealing materials, leak sealing compound injection ports, special bolting materials, and specialty coatings.
  • Quality Control – All Mechanical Pipeline Repair Clamps are fully inspected and factory tested to 1.5x Design pressure or to any given customer test procedure. All Split Sleeve Pipeline Repair Fittings are serial numbered and inspection reports are kept on file for material traceability. Third part inspection or witness testing is welcomed.
  • Seals – Split Sleeve Mechanical Pipeline Repair Clamps are available with a variety of seal materials. Primary sealing design consists of single circumferential and longitudinal seals. Pipeline repair sleeve bodies may require dual circumferential seals on either end and/or dual longitudal seals. These dual seal designs incorporate a test port between seals to prove seal integrity after installation.
  • Installation – Split Sleeve Pipeline Repair Clamps from Furmanite are equipped with hinge plates and lifting eyes to simplify field installation. Additional options, including hydraulic operation are available.
  • SPLIT SLEEVE BOLTED MECHANICAL HOT TAPPING FITTINGS
image_CustSubsea.jpgFurmanite’s Split Mechanical Pipeline Hot Tap Fittings are designed for use in weld hazardous environments or in off-shore and sub sea applications. The unique design allows for installation on critical pipe systems where shut down and flow interruption is undesirable. Split Mechanical Hot Tapping Fittings are used for making tie-ins and branch connections into systems which are under pressure and where welded fitting connections can not be used. Split Mechanical Line Stopping Fittings are used for performing critical Line Plugging operations on operating pipe systems where isolation is needed and where valves are either non-existent or are inoperable.
