Furmanite has been manufacturing Split Tee Line Stop fittings for over 40 years. As the first dedicated Hot Tap and Line Stop service provider in the world, the company began producing Hot Tap and Line Stop fittings for supplying and supporting its own service group. Since this time, Furmanite has become a major supplier of Line Stop equipment, accessories, and split tee and custom line stop fittings to pipeline operators around the world. Our split tee line stop fittings are suited to work with our heritage (IPSCO) Line Stopping equipment as well as being compatible with most other manufacturer’s equipment.

Furmanite’s Split Tee Line Stop fittings come prepared with Close-Sure Flanged Outlets and Close-Sure Completion Plugs. The Close-Sure system has been used under pressure valve recoveries in the field for over 40 years. No other manufacturer can claim a completion system that has proven so reliable.

Close-Sure Completion plugs are available with and without scarfed nipple outlets for use on both standard piping and pigged pipe line systems.
