IPSCO Jackscrews and Hydraulic Actuators are design for Plugging Head Installation. The Line Plugging Actuators are available in both manual and hydraulically operated designs for installing Pivoting Style Plugging Heads into Pipe Lines from 3” – 48”. The IPSCO Line Stop Actuators have the following features.
- For performing Line Plugging Operations from 3” – 48”
- Manual Feed Model for Line Stops 3” – 12”
- Hydraulically powered operation from 4” – 48”
- Pressure rating up to 1000 PSI standard. Higher Pressure available upon request.

IPSCO Pivoting Style Plugging Heads are designed to stop flow in live operating pipe lines. Standard Pivoting Heads are rated up to 1000 PSIG and are tested to 1.5x design pressure. Heads have been manufactured through 48” and to withstand pressures up to 1800 PSI. Our Pivoting Head Style Plugging Heads have the following features.
