Furmanite North America Achieves Impressive Safety Milestone
1,000,000 hours worked with no lost-time injuries

Houston, Texas (November 30, 2005) – Furmanite, the world’s first and one of the largest industrial specialty maintenance service companies, announced that it has reached the impressive milestone of one million man hours worked with no lost-time injuries.

“This achievement is a direct reflection of Furmanite’s focus and commitment to providing superior service without compromising our employee’s safety,” says Gary Gardner, President of Furmanite North America. “Reaching 1,000,000 hours worked with no lost-time injury is something that few companies ever experience, especially in our field of services.”

Specifically, field technicians, sales, management and support staff lost no time, nor were customer deadlines compromised as a result of on-site injuries for one million hours (or two years). This milestone, which occurred in the Company’s third quarter, is unique for not only the company, but the entire industry as well.
