CUSTOMER: Major operator

PROBLEM: The customer wanted to modify their petrochemical plant - but they didn’t want to shutdown.

SOLUTION: That’s where Furmanite Hot Tapping and Plugging comes in. The main goal was to install expansion loops into sections of 10'' and 16” flare lines. Having proved our ability on the 10” project, the plugging head provided a 100% seal against the flare gas for six days, we were then appointed to the 16” project.

OUTCOME: Work on both projects was completed ahead of schedule.
